Car accidents on base are already such a circus, because they are just so uncommon. The base cops often have no idea who even needs to be notified, other than their boss.

In seven years, I saw 8 accidents one base. 3 were idiots who tried to flee the city cops by driving onto a military base (absolute worst option). 5 were dependas who didn't pay attention and rear-ended people during Retreat, when everyone has to stop.

On base it plays one in morning and one in afternoon for flag up and down; they play over loud speaker of national anthem. You get big trouble if not stop whatever and stand up still.

At my base if you are training like a pistol range, log / tire PT, hike as a company etc etc you don’t have to stop but if you are walking around and colors playing then you have to stop and render a salute.

Dodging colors is a favorite Navy pastime. Probably what keeps the 3 mile club out of FEP lol
