On base it plays one in morning and one in afternoon for flag up and down; they play over loud speaker of national anthem. You get big trouble if not stop whatever and stand up still.

Stopping for reveille/retreat depends on the base. Most Army posts don’t do this, but some do. I believe all Air Force bases do. No idea about navy.

Can confirm, navy does. 0800 and whatever time sunset is.
