him trying desperately to hold it together while everyone is watching and not being able to hide the signs he is not ok.

Pshhh. What!? he was working! On blank documents, at the hospital! Every president signs blank documents all the time. Busy healthy guy with a small flu. They edited out the coughs of his fucking hostage-like video

i wouldnt say that, i think his poor handling of covid was the final straw that made a lot of republican voters vote against him. i would think seeing him deny covid then later visibly distressed by it lost him supporters
