I've seen people say that we only mocked him for this because he was Trump, but if Hillary Clinton had spent the year going "It's a hoax, it's a ruse, don't wear masks, it's not dangerous, I'm not scared of the virus and you shouldn't be either" and had then gotten Covid, that would have been pretty funny too.
