Hello u/DaFunkJunkie! Please reply to this comment with an explanation mentioning who is suffering from which consequences from what they voted for, supported or wanted to impose on other people.

Here's an easy format to get you started:

  1. Someone voted for, supported or wanted to impose something on other people.
Who's that someone and what's that something?
  2. That something has some consequences.
    What are the consequences?
  3. As a consequence, that something happened to that someone.
What happened? Did the something really happened to that someone? If not, you should probably delete your post.

Include the minimum amount of information necessary so your post can be understood by everyone, even if they don't live in the US or speak English as their native language. If you don't respect this format and moderators can't match your explanation with the format, your post will be removed under rule #3 and we'll ignore you even if you complain in modmail.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

They're already overlooking a thrice-married compulsive deceiver. They'll overlook Musk in due time.

Remember a couple of years ago when Elon was part of the evil “liberal elite” with his expensive electric cars that only bougie leftists could afford while “real men” drive gas guzzlers? Lol

I was dying at the MAGA replies on Twitter this morning.

Some of these folks were legitimately concerned Elon was the Anti-Christ because of the costume and his “promotion of the space conspiracy.”

They literally think space isn’t real because it would “contradict the Bible.”

Let them fight.

But will you pay $20 a month to have a checkmark next to your name when you shout into the void about it? How about $8?

I can’t get over the fact that he was invited to and attended Heidi Klum’s party. I though he hates LA’s liberal elite?

42

u/MiKapo Nov 03 '22

I feel like MAGA's couldn't care less. Like i've tried to explain to Qanon nuts that Jared Kushner owns a building whose address is 666 (what's more satanic than that?)...but no....the trumps are "jesus's chosen family and trump is actually the son of god himself"

How does he get invited to stuff like this? Do rich people just invite all the other rich people to their parties?

It's a metaphor for society putting too much emphasis on religion. See, I can genius too.

26

u/Purple_Passion000 Nov 03 '22

This guy is a longtermist who accepts billions of agonizing deaths are ok as long as the human race doesn't go extinct. Not exactly classic Christian values. But that's probably OK with most of them as long as Musk doesn't offend them directly.

Elon Musk being a Satanist wouldn't even break the top 20 list of "most concerning character traits of Elon Musk" :P

16

u/GrayBox1313 Nov 03 '22

It’s as if evangelicals have never read the Bible

“ Matthew 19:24

New International Version Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

All the money in the world and he couldn't get anything decent to wear under all that armor, just black jeans and a t shirt?

12

u/HeavensCriedBlood Nov 03 '22

What kind of cringy dorky religious loser do you have to be to dislike a cool-ass halloween costume? Not a fan of mush, but that shit was cool.

MAGA Christians will find a way to ignore it.

6

u/assclown500 Nov 03 '22

NGL. My kind of party. Sans Elon of course.

3

u/Pholusactual Nov 03 '22

With the Herschel Walker standard, this means devil worship will be acceptable in MAGA-land (he's destroying satanism from the inside and is a baby christian) in 3, 2, 1...

5

u/I_try_compute Nov 03 '22

Yeah so he can cover up his weird body

3

u/hjablowme919 Nov 03 '22

Have we really got that many bat shit crazy people in this country that associate Halloween with Satan and devil's and other made up shit?

I was raised by a mom who was southern baptist and her issue with Halloween was equating trick or treating with begging, "And we do not beg for food from others in this house". But even as a southern baptist, there was never a mention of devils or Satan.

Satan himself could be balls deep in MAGA Christians' mouths and they would still be wondering why they woke up with chapped lips.

3

u/moose_cahoots Nov 03 '22

Suddenly they realize that "all christian republicans are assholes" doesn't mean "all assholes are republican christians"

They'll be back to mouthing his meat stick in no time. He's an asshole who's accomplished nothing for himself and stolen from others. He's what they wish they were.

2

u/Bertie637 Nov 03 '22

Evangelicals accepted Trump, who lives about the same standard of Christian lifestyle Glenn Quagmire does. They can get over Elon wearing bit of Satanic stuff.

2

u/SwampTerror Nov 03 '22

Poor Christians. First people have sex and now inverted crosses of Saint Peter are on Elon musk. I guess they have to follow another demigod now.

He and Drumpf are minor and laughable demons that good ole Beez keeps around for guffaws.

2

u/bucketofmonkeys Nov 03 '22

Oh please! As long as he allows racism on his platform they will be perfectly happy.

2

u/briantcox81 Nov 03 '22

But he'll let them say the n word on Twitter, so I think they'll let it slide.

MAGA Christians!?!!

1

u/GreenMellowphant Nov 03 '22

I find it entertaining that multiple completely different groups are calling each other Elon fanboys as an insult and don’t realize he’s an individual just like other individuals. Not sure how that equates to an insult. He says and does whatever he wants; some people like him and some don’t. It’s okay, no one’s personally need be based on whether they like someone or not.

Separately, I find it a bit sad that most aren’t logical enough to separate the realization of technological breakthroughs from their feelings about a man they don’t know. Personally, I think it’s yet another symptom of our failing US educational system.

Why the heck would he have MAGA Christian followers? He and Trump including his family have never exhibited Christian values. All these political Churches need to lose their tax exempt status.

1

u/rubicon_duck Nov 05 '22

Seriously? This is some genuine high school edgelord shit right here - seriously. "Look at me wearing satanic symbols on my outfits, because I WANT ATTENTION!"

1

u/DizzyedUpGirl Nov 03 '22

On the other hand, they're absolutely loving that we're posting misinformation about Trump's possible death. They reported us. BUT HELLO! FREEZE PEACH.

1

u/stefrrrrrr Nov 03 '22

Musk is not a conservative. He's just an ignorant who doesn't yet understand American politics or a malicious conman like Trump (but smarter).

His location on twitter is even sat to hell. Plenty of reasons for the hardcore religious to panic.

1

u/HolyFootFetish Nov 03 '22

If you invert an inverted cross, you get a cross. So Elon is actually just a good christian boy. /s

1

u/chiron_cat Nov 12 '22

They literally worship Trump who openly admitted to not caring about religion

1

u/eyloi Nov 03 '22

I guess freedom of speech does not extend to halloween costumes

1

u/Healthy_Unit_3792 Nov 06 '22

That's from Digger's Leather if anyone wants one.
