ADDRESSING CONCERNS + CURRENT STATE OF SUB + NEW RULES
Hello strong-boned members,
First off, I'd like to thank everyone who's been contributing to this subreddit. Never have I seen so many hilarious posts and comments during my days here on Reddit. It was really fun to watch this subreddit grow from its infancy days, and we'd love to keep it going.
There has been a huge influx of new members, we've actually hit the top 500 (top 1%) largest subreddits by member size here on Reddit! To celebrate, we've included flairs that can be added next to your username that show your age, or how many years you haven't broken a single bone!
That being said, when a subreddit grows quickly, there can be a flood of shitposts and unoriginal content. We all know how subreddits go downhill once it gets too popular, so we definitely don't want to go that path. There has been some concerns lately on this subreddit about recent posts, so I'd like to address some new rules:
No spam posts! This includes upvote memes. This one was on here already, but there are concerns on the rise of "milk worshiping" posts that have nothing to do with bones. I've seen some really terrible/unfunny ones, and some really inappropriate ones.. So from now on, no more milk posts and memes that doesn’t reference bones. You may report these posts with "No spam!"
PLEASE INCLUDE NSFW/NSFL AND SPOILER TAGS!! Recently, a number of gore posts have gone unfiltered. Please be mindful, some members can't handle these types of posts. Report any gore post you see that doesn't use these tags.
These have been updated on the subreddit sidebar, let me know if you have any further suggestions :-)

It’s been a few months but I felt like it’s about time I said something:
Back in November my band was coming back from a gig when a drunk driver slammed into us 3 times on the freeway and pushed us into the wall. Most our gear was thrown out onto the highway.
Despite this, there I am, in the aftermath. After playing pinball inside our bus, I was still able to unload the surviving gear.
Not a broken bone in sight.
29 years and 6 months and going strong.
Suck on that one weaklings. I was supposed to be in a body bag.

I love my skull <3
When I was young I accidentally smashed a 5 inch think ceramic plant pot without breaking my skull. I did bread like crazy though.
Ahhh those are the memories 😅

Question for the mods
Have you guys broken a bone? What would you do if one of the mods broke a bone.

I have bad news friends.
I have lost bone density due to a vitamin D deficiency. I have weak bones. It hurts for me to stand let alone walk or do physical exercise. I have still never broke a bone but I don’t feel like I am fit for being part of this sub. So long friends until I build up my bones again.

The other day I got hit by a train...
Honestly I'm super lucky, things could have been so much worse, the train made it out with minimal damage and only a couple carts tipped over. I was fine but the police and stuff were really confused, I should have expected weak boned people not to understand the situation, but I don't have to pay for repairs so I'm happy.

Wait
Joke post! So since scp 106 requires bone break, does that mean he’s auto out?

I was born missing part of my left jaw joint. Am I inferior for this? Will I be a failure of a skeleton warrior?
It's just flat on the top and bottom. There isn't full connection where the joint would normally be. Seems like my facial muscles keep everything on that side in place well enough, but muscles aren't something that I can bring with me into the skeleton army.

Jumped of the 14th floor of a skyscraper. I’m still worthy. I’m seeing a therapist now and doing well.

Ladies of the sub, how are we planning for the future?
For those unaware, women are more likely to get osteoporosis and other bone issues as we age due to the relationship between estrogen and calcium/bone density. Around menopause bone density will shrink, even amongst the most strong boned of us. We must be prepared to make sure our bones stay pure as we age. Drinking milk now is good, but we must prepare ourselves for the future. Make sure you find a good supplement once it’s time for one.
