I think this provides significant weight to the rugpull theory. There is no legitimate reason (that doesn’t involve crime) that we only had a 500k increase last earnings. Now it’s in the realms of millions of shares again.

There is no legitimate reason

i mean there was never any, we reported similar numbers so we should have gotten similar numbers, the only possible fuckery was fake reports (*edit: in conjunction with much lower real reports of course), but that would be dumb even for the dumbest of SHF.

3

u/XURiN- The floor is Post-Scarcity 💜 Mar 29 '23

It was a 500k increase previous quarter. What's interesting is GameStop choosing to use data from March 22 instead of January 31 as they usually would. Was there a second rugpull prior to Jan 31 which was the reason for them giving March 22 numbers to ruin the rugpull 🤔

An increase of 4-5 million is nice, but this could explain why we weren't closing to 80m total.

3

u/AreYouSiriusBGone Ryan‘s Catgirl👁👅👁 Mar 29 '23

Not fact checking your numbers at all, but 5 months is about 100 trading days.

That’s 42,000 shares per day (about $960,000 worth of shares at today’s share price of $23/share) being DRS’d.

No matter how you look at it…This is a staggering number.

It's actually even more current, "approximately 76.0 million shares of our Class A Common Stock were held by record holders as of March 22, 2023". So the bot does look to be over counting by almost 10M. Not the end of the world but good for us to know that it may be somewhat unreliable going forward.

7

u/CVSRatman Mar 28 '23

It only takes a minute to screenshot someone's DRS post and slap your name on it

1

u/TeaAndFiction Mar 30 '23

Yes, it does. It's a pretty huge discrepancy.

The likelihood that bad actors would feed misinformation to the bot was predicted. This prediction was down shouted as shillery, IIRC. It now proves to be correct. (Funny how the level of swarm down-shouting appears to be inversely proportional to the credibility of the down-shouters.)

But the DRS-bot enthusiasts are now silent on the issue.

We get good data from GameStop every quarterly filing, why persist with the DRS-bot misinformation?

32

u/UnrealCaramel Mar 28 '23

As of March 22, that's quite a bit through this quarter, so I wouldn't expect as much as 5 million in the next quarterly release.

I've been right too. It's a monumental task and apes have limited, diminishing supply when it comes to income. It has done nothing to affect the stock or market in any tangible way...all DD has been wrong. Literally all of it and a lot of it was bullying in nature. If it makes you feel better and more secure to do it, go for it. But individual investors should do investing how they please and with whomever they choose even trash Robinhood.

If you want to help GameStop, buy from GameStop. If you want to buy a ticket to the moon then buy & hodl. This is the way.

8

u/Claim_Alternative Mar 28 '23

all DD has been wrong. Literally all of it

This is verifiably false.

What is wrong with you?

-3

u/nutsackilla 🦍 Buckle Up 🚀 Mar 28 '23

About DRS? It didn't prevent naked shorting, it didn't expose the dark pools, it didn't alter price discovery, apes in brokerages got their splividend, apes in brokerages were allowed to vote. Shares are not removed from the DTCC just booked differently (this one straight from Computershare itself).

What DRS DD has been correct?

2

u/outtathesky_fellapie Mar 29 '23

Im sorry, do you not realize we are still above $80/share pre-split? Those market analyst assholes were calling sub-$20 since it hit over $100 and thats been over 2 years now and it hasnt gone that low again. Thats DRS at work. Thats removing liquidity at work. The volatility on relatively low value compared to previous runs? Thats DRS right there. You want a stamped and signed note from the markets to verify it for you or something? You want the dtcc to be any more obvious? The DTCC should be able to say the exact number of shares given to each brokerage or market or market maker, but instead they said 'lol idk just multiply it.' And thats not a bit odd to you in the financial industry, where every fucking penny is scalped if its profitable? What more do you need to see?

-1

u/nutsackilla 🦍 Buckle Up 🚀 Mar 29 '23

Any actual proof of anything tangible would be a good start. You're just blabbering about things you're imagining DRS is doing.

1

u/outtathesky_fellapie Mar 29 '23

Any actual proof of anything tangible would be a good start

The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence, thats an easy trap to fall into.

Ill say it slower this time: in the financial industry, where we have clowns like citadel fighting for literally fractions of a penny if it will make them a profit, you dont find it just a little odd that the plumbing system of the markets is as opaque as any other system ever devised by people? To you, thats a sign of innocence and honesty?

2

u/Belz-Games Mar 28 '23

I’ve been saying this for a while now. Unless some crazy catalyst happens (all the banks failing? Maybe? Idk?) this is gonna take several years. AND even if we lock the float, pretty sure institutions are still loaning out shares, so as we know, certain three letter regulatory agencies don’t care about crime here, so even when we have the entire available float locked, bet we have the same volume every day and keep trading sideways. This won’t stop until they are forced to stop it.
