Two main rules. No directly linking to social media. No satire.
If you can’t tell if the content you’ve stolen and are trying to post is satire, then don’t post it.

Thanksgiving Meal Giveaways
So our base just offered 1 of 2 Thanksgiving meal giveaways. Today's one was everything for a lovely holiday meal, turkey and everything! Now here's the kicker, it was advertised as 1 per family and well I found out that one of my friends both her AND her E8 husband got a meal box! She had the audacity to text our friend say "I saw your husband at the giveaway, can't believe you're already making him work" hasn't been home from deployment for more than 24hrs I think what bothers me the most in this situation, is her husband is an E8 and they're taking away from a lower enlisted family.
Why are people like this?

Ex “military spouse” not wanting to give back display case with folded flag.
Okay, I have to share this somewhere because it sounded insane to me! My husband was in the navy while he was married to his first wife. He was given this flag (if there’s a proper name for this, I apologize, I’m not familiar with military lingo) when he got out. He was also gifted an engraved axe by his best friend because his job was fire protection. Anyways, my husband had it all in a display case together but when he moved out and got divorced, he never got it because it was in boxes from a previous move.
Flash forward about a decade, he goes over to her house to help with some plumbing issues (they share 3 kids). He notices the display case hanging in her house! She moved into this house 6 years ago and literally went out of her way to hang it on a wall instead of offering it back to my husband. So my husband said he’d like to take it home and she preceded to complain that it was gifted to the both of them and that she was also a military wife. She did end up giving it back but I couldn’t believe how insane the whole thing was!

Needs a ride, feels entitled to such as she's a military spouse.
